In every job, in every stage of my career, no matter what my official role was, I've edited. Why? Because everyone knows I can help them with everything from a quick proof of content and format to a full-blown overhaul and reorganization of anything that uses words, in any medium. I never tell someone, "Sorry, editing isn't in my job description this time." If I can help, I'm glad to do it.
The samples and descriptions below are from jobs when editing was my primary or secondary role; if you'd like to see other samples in other media, content types, or styles, just let me know—I have plenty!
Other Editing Projects (partial list)
Hewlett-Packard (HP) Enterprise Services Worldwide Marketing training
Reviewed design and edited content of Self-Provisioning Sales Pursuit Microsite “wizard” tool, which allows non-technical HP sales and marketing staff to create a custom sales pursuit site for a prospective client in less than 30 minutes. Worked with content of client-facing site pages the tool produced, including Welcome, About HP, Solutions, Operational Excellence, Employee Transition, Transition/Transformation, Cost Savings, and Best Shore sections. Edited marketing content and cross checked with other HP Marketing teams to verify accuracy; several teams updated their materials based on my edits.
